Tamarac Christmas Bird Count

Meet with refuge stafaf at the Visitor Center to join in the annual bird count.

Tamarac Winter Hike

Sunday, January 8, 2 p.m.

Dress warm and meet at the visitor center to explore the science of winter

on snowshoes. Some snowshoes wil be available for loan.

Family Ski Trek

Sunday, February 5, 2 p.m.

Meet at the Tamarac Pine Lake parking lot for an easy 2 mile ski. We'll explore the signs of wildlife in the winter, learn a few wildlife tracks .

Back Country Ski Trek

Sunday, March 4, 2 p.m.

Meet at the Tamarac Pine Lake parking lot for a 5-6 mile ski. We'll learn a few wildlife tracks as we make tracks in the backwoods of the refuge.
