The Friends had our annual meeting at the Discovery Center on Nov. 30. It was a full house and a great evening! Kathy Piechel, a teacher from Frazee gave an inspiring talk about the positive difference our Enviromental Education programs make in her students.
We elected 5 new board members. We announced that we have paid off our debt! We celebrated 25 years of our partnership with the refuge. Most importantly we set our sights on even greater contributions to Tamarac, the environment and our kids programs. Thank you to all who participated.
