FOT Selling Ice Cream Treats

Camoflage-Hike

To raise funds for the environmental education programs at Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, Friends of Tamarac volunteers are selling boxes of Dairy Queen Dilly Bars to area businesses, organizations and individuals who would like to show their support.

The Friends have been making the rounds to visit loyal area businesses and organizations and ask them to purchase the ice cream treats, at a cost of $15 for a box of six.

“They can send them to other businesses, organizations, friends and family,” Jacobson said, adding that they can either arrange to have Friends volunteers deliver the boxes with messages of thanks, love and support, or they can pick them up at the local Dairy Queen restaurant (located inside Washington Square Mall).

The boxes will be delivered, or available for pickup, on Friday, April 29. To place an order, call 218-844-1767 or send an email message to tamaracrefuge@gmail.com.
