Welcome to the Old Indian Hiking Trail. Let your footsteps tread ground once covered by Native Americans. What drew these travelers to Tamarac? This trail led to rich ricing, maple sugaring and hunting areas.

A quiet hike along this 2 1/4 mile trail will increase your chances of seeing wildlife. The trail is easy with a few gentle hills. Bug spray is recommended in the summer. Use all your senses as you travel along this path. Take in the scent of pine, hear the songs of warblers, reel the crunch of leaves under your feet. Wrap yourself in the experience of Tamarac.
