Final Photographer/Webmaster Thoughts: The above photo is of the ponds and wetlands north of the canopied road at the end of the auto tour. We hope to feature on our website explorations of the auto tour later when the vegetation is in full bloom. Now in early spring the emerging vegetation and active wildlife are still facinating. Every visit to Tamarac and every trip along the Auto Tour can be an adventure because you can never predict what wildlife you might see or whether you might stumble upon a rarer wildflower in full bloom. If you enjoy taking pictures you need to keep your camera always ready.

The photos in this collection were taken with a 4 megapixel digital camera. Unfortunately, one can't put photos on a website in their full detail because it would take someone with a dial-up connection forever to download the photos. Consequently, the photos here sized to a width of 450 pixels and only moderate compression is a compromise.
