Don't miss this opportunity get the scoop on ice fishing. This youth mentoring ice fishing day is a wonderful chance to learn how to ice fish. We'll drill the holes, provide a warming shelter, and give tips on winter fishing. Volunteer mentors can handle up to 20 kids per hour so sign up for 1:00, 2:00, or 3:00 pm arrival time. Kids that are signed up will get to keep the ice fishing kit complete with pole, scoop, lead free tackle, bucket and more provided by the Friends of Tamarac. This experience is geared for youth 6-16 but the whole family can tag along.
