Friends Host White Earth Nation RBC

The Friends of Tamarac Board hosted a meeting on the refuge with the White Earth Nation Reservation Business Committee where they observed Naytahwaush students learning about spring bird migration. The environmental education program was highlighted and collaborative opportunities explored. The new upcoming agreement with White Earth Nation will include tribal staff assisting with indigenous knowledge in the education program as well as refuge interpretation.
