Our Environmental Education volunteers and staff pour their love of nature into the EE program and that love comes back. At the end of one session, a student sought out a favorite volunteer and handed him a tightly folded piece of paper. What the volunteer unfolded was the beautiful, heartfelt thank you you see.
Our spring Environmental Education season has wrapped up along with the school year. Throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons our outdoor education program staff and volunteers shared their love of the outdoors with 900+ students from the area.
Thank you to Marnie Larsen and all of the volunteers who helped to lead activities! Also, a big thank you to the students, teachers, assistants, and bus drivers for making this program possible and for bringing so much joy to the refuge.
