A very successful Toast to Tamarac was held at Richwood Winery on September 27, 2013. It was a beautiful fall evening under the tent by the vineyard with the mist holding off until closing time. A good time was had by all. 165 guests enjoyed the wine tasting and wonderful appetizer buffet. David Ferreira Trio provided beautiful music for the occasion. A seed guessing game, an antler toss and a card game drew many participants. The wine basket given by Richwood Winery was won by Cindy Fritz. John Boots led the live auction for a few very special items. Justine Boots gathered, organized and produced a stunning silent and live auction with unique items given by generous folks within our community. Justine and peoples generosity helped to make our fund raising event a financial success. The committee that worked so hard and gave a great deal of time to produce this great party includes Fran Mattson, Nancy Olson, Nancy Brennan, Linda Brockmann, Justine Boots, Betty Gunderson, Krista Hesby-Jorgenson, Kelly Blackledge and Vonnie Jacobson.
