All the photos entered in the 2013 Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge Nature Photography Contest will be on display at the Detroit Lakes Washington Square Mall from October 14 to 20 for National Wildlife Refuge Week. Come and vote for your favorite photo to help select the 2013 People’s Choice. An awards ceremony will take place at the Washington Square Mall on October 20th at 2 p.m. where we will announce the contest winners. This event is conducted by the Friends of Tamarac. As a teaser, the 2013 Friends Choice winner, selected by the Friends board, is a photo called “Spring Break” by Jim Sinclair.
