Join us at the Washington Square Mall in Detroit Lakes next Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Among the fun will be nature activity tables, 75 reasons I love Tamarac banner activity, gift shop sales, learn more about the Discovery Center, Puppets with Connie at 12:30 p.m., Photo Contest photo display (all week), People’s Choice voting (all week), and the last day of Tamarac Whitetails Quilt raffle ticket sales. Friends of Tamarac was organized in 1991 and became a formal 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1993. To celebrate this 20th anniversary we’re having cake at 2 p.m. with charter board member Nancy Moulden cutting the cake.
